Whats up with Mosley???

Waiting on Cotto-Clottey and May-JMM.

 

he can't box
he's just strong and a bit fast ... no jab ... very stiff ... no kinda footwork and he takes too many punches for a guy who's perceived as a boxer

he was outboxed by Cotto (even though you can argue he won)
he was outboxed by Forrest
he was outboxed by Wright

 

Prob just seems stupid cause that will mean he'll be out for a year before his next fight.

 

all b/s aside I would love for him to get back to P4P #1 and fight Mayweather is a mega fight ... if he improves his status I think that he can make a better fight than he can now. But he would have to fight Cotto and Pac before he fights Mayweather.

He did the same thing when he beat DLH ... and it seems like history is repeating itself with Mosley.

Who's to say if he were to fight and beat Pac that he would want a fight with Mayweather ...

 

he is begging for a fight...remember clottey rather chose to fight cotto rather that mosley...

we might never see him in the ring for the whole year. Pac would most like fight cotto this october while may and jmm would rest for the entire year after their fight. He doesn't want to move up to 154 nor fight paul williams

But after the Margarito win he's only gonna want the big fights, and all the top fighters who are draws around 147 are tied up. Floyd, JMM, Cotto, Pac doesn't want any part of him etc.

 

he could always call out a lightweight, maybe Valero?, Guzman? Khan? Diaz?

 

Maybe aren't informed enough to know that Guzman & Khan are 140lber's?

 

last i heard Guzman called out Diaz and few other LW's, but then again i did also hear about talks with Bradley

and once Khan gets KO'd he'd go right back down to LW, and regardless...my point still stands

Mosley already said he doesn't want to fight Clottey, Berto or Paul Williams. He said he's only interested in Cotto, Pac or Floyd. But the clock is ticking and father time is going to catch up with him one of these nights. I understand he only wants to fight the big fights but his pickyness may hurt him, let alone leaving him out in the cold. Being inactive at his age won't help him when he finally steps in the ring.

 

I think he should fight Berto, but for some reason he doesn't really seem interested. It could be said there's not enough money there, but I think he might be a little intimidated by Berto's speed and explosiveness. Don't get me wrong I think Shane should beat Berto even at this stage, but I think he has reacted too much to Berto's name when mentioned in a few interviews.

 

For Mosley it's and in order Mayweather, Pacquiao & Cotto or Bust!
(Tho for a stay busy fight, Why not a III fight with Forrest.... just throwin' it out there)

 

I agree, he should beat Berto and I have noticed that Shane reacts a little too much to Berto's name, for example when larry merchant asked him if he'd fight Berto in his post interview after he KO'ed Mayorga, he seemed a little hesistant.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed. He also said Margarito would be an easier fight than Berto after his fight with Margo was signed. But, he made up agreat argument whe he beat Margo :good

 

He could of have Cotto if he conceded the fight location. Had he bended on location, it would have been Mosley fighting in place of Clottey June 13th and the first episode of their 24/7 would be airing tonight for us all to enjoy. :yep
