Good sportsman had the guy hurt and could have kept hitting him and didn't. I was impressed, few years time he could be going places....
Yes, some really vicious body shots had Belshaw down twice in the first and it was clear Belshaw wanted no part of it. Another body shot in the second had Belshaw reeling away. Fury had the right hand cocked to take his head off but elected not to and allowed the referee to step in. I don't really care if its all hype or not, I am happy to buy into it. He really struggles to follow up on the arrogant persona he has created for himself. I don't believe he is really that guy, but he brings excitment to the division.
Fury is starting 2 to look like a top prospect at 20 years old, he is looking better after every fight.
Yep Fury did well. His jab was very sharp, his overall offensive display was full of handspeed, variety, and then the killer blows to the body. He wasn't really tested though as despite this guys good record he literally couldn't throw a proper punch.
Fury is fighting bums at the moment, but its understandable, its the beginning of his career... is he something special for the future? Doubtful, but he could win a HW belt one day, considering how bad the divison is.
He should keep fighting lower end fighters at this rate until he's 40-0 or thereabouts, Tye Fields but with a somewhat higher level of competition. Really, he's 20. He needs a few years to really get his act together, to be able to challenge at a world level. Until then, blast these guys out of there like he is, learn learn learn.
Furys old man is a twat, for sure. Still not convinced with this guy to be honest....my old man rang me earlier raving about him but I suspect he hasn't seen the footage of him almost KO'ing himself with an uppercut.
