In another post it was stated that Dempsey KO'd Galento in the gym.
What's the story leading up to that?
What prompted Jack to lose his cool and lace em up with Two Ton?

historian Mike Casey wrote an article in which apperently Dempsey flattened Galenteno in a sparring session but i cant find that article right now on his site. Even after his reirement however, Dempsey took part in exhibition fights until he was about 45 years old. Galenteno probably annoyed Jack and Dempsey flattened him but i am not sure.

Jack managed Tony for a time and became annoyed that Galento was lazy during training and sparring, after a particularly lacklustre effort by Two Ton, Jack proceeded to get in the ring and flatten him, Jack then told him to find a new manager after that

Dempsey wasn't particularly hard to **** off and everything I've heard paints Galento as a real abbrasive guy.

Im interested in that statement as all Ive read on Jack portrays him as a gentleman outside the ring.

Not saying he was an ******* but he wasn't afraid to see a situation through.

You've heard about him beating the **** out of a handful of punks when he was almost 80 right? He didn't back down.
