Always interesting when a fighter can perform herculean, strongman like feats of strength.

Jack Johnson could hold back two horses with a leather strap attached to both of his forearms, and bend horseshoes in his hands.

Tony Galento could supposedly lift barrels/blocks of ice that other men could barely move, up and down stairs.

Jumbo Cummings claim to fame was being able to lift up the back of a car.

140 pound Kosta Tzysu was known to put up 300 or 350 (I forget) pounds in the gym, bench pressing.

There's a picture of a young George Foreman easily picking up a good sized cow.

Also, Tzysu might be the strongest 140 pounder of all time. He tossed around almost every fighter he ever fought like children fighting a man. Chavez, Hurtado, Mitchell... They'd clinch and he'd literally swing them around onto the mat.

Also, in the third round of Tzysu/Hurtado they clinch, Hurtado pulls his head down a bit and Tzysu keeps walking forward for a second lifting Hurtado into the air.

Speaking of spinning a fighter around like a ragdoll, Lennox Lewis did this in McCall rematch. They were near the ropes and Lennox ****ing spun a 250 pound man around like he weighed next to nothing.

How about life long weight lifter George Chuvalo being able to put up 400 pounds at the advanced age of 70 of there abouts?

This is bull****. I remember very distinctly when Tszyu was training for one of his later fights and was bragging to the press about how happy he was with his bench press, then he said it was 260 or 265 amd I sort of lost respect his strength. I dont consider myself that strong but I was benching 260 when I only weighed 150 and Tszyu was walking around at about 170 back then.

Terry Norris bench pressed 300 lbs. as a junior middle.

The Jack Johnson "horse photo" was entirely staged and bull****.

I saw that photo in a book, and well the horses were not moving. Lets not forget the horses are pretty much train not to rip a man apart.

It was stage. I dont care WHO you are, 2 horses tied to your arms, and running at full speed is going to rip you apart.

You could be Arnie for all I care.
