Even Floyd himself is saying he would never let a small man retire him. Floyd knows he has the size advantage. p4p both are very close, however this isnt a p4p fantasy matchup. I just hope JMM carries his speed, power & punch resistance up...if he does, Floyd's in trouble. As smart as Floyd is in the ring, I actually think JMM is smarter.

Then the thought of Chris John, a counterpuncher outboxing JMM comes into mind....hmmm....JMM better show up on his best.

this is the fight that comes to my mind that makes me think that floyd's slick style would trouble jmm aside from the obvious size difference. but it doesn't necessarily mean that floyd is the better fighter.

Pac hasn't been having "50/50" fights because people haven't been able to compete with him. He would dominate Casamayor and Diaz.

**** off back to the lounge.

uh no the ODLH and Hatton came in the fight already beat, it's just that it wasn't evident by just looking at them before the fight.:patsch

What are you even trying to say?

It was a bad version of Oscar obviously, but it isn't often guys rush up from 130 to fight Jr Middleweights, which is the significance of it. Hatton might have "came into the fight already beat" in that at no point in his career has he been anywhere close to Pac in terms of ability, and has nowhere near the defensive ability to compete with a sharp puncher like Pacquiao (or Mayweather).

Casamayor and Marquez came into the fights already beat, in that no one expected them to do well. Except both came close to winning 50% of the rounds, but obviously couldn't match Marquez for 12.

he has the size advantage but he doesn't use it. His style is defensive and i could see marquez pressing the action more into this fight. And like i said, the size is not much of a difference as i saw during the press con. If we are talking about cotto, margo, or mosley vs. jmm then you have a point about the size because those guys give pressure which is an advantage because of their size.

How do you "use" your size advantage? He's taller, bigger bone structure and bigger body in general means he can probably naturally take more punishment, as well as hit harder. So if he hits JMM, JMM is gonna feel like he's been hit by a bigger man, rather than a man his size, therefore the size advantage is "used" naturally.

You put Paul Williams next to BHop, the size difference isn't that big too...BHop is still the bigger man at this point. Besides I disagree, looking at JMM against Diaz and PBF in general, PBF looks a lot more sturdier and just generally bigger. Who knows...I hope the size will not come into play and we'll just see 2 great tacticians going at it.
