    just re-watched the fight.
one of Mayweather's few offensive oriented fights that I've seen.
    what do you guy's think?

great performance. the jab to the body was a thing to remember. set up his left hook to the head and landed the right hand when he lead corrales in.

i think mayweather needed to be aggressive...or aggressiver becuase corrales usually came on strong later and was always dangerous. manfreddy tried to box and land the counters but kept getting drawn in when he landed cleanly.

mayweather needed to get to him and he got to him again and again. great performance

tho joel casamayor did a better job i feel. not as punch perfect as floyds buts really exsposed his defencive weaknesses.

Probably his best win and IMO the last time I saw him at his brilliant best. Most of his fights after that didnt close to impressing me as much.

this was the last time the majority of fans and writers felt that PBF would lose. Great performance

It's been years since I've sat down and watch it but when I think of an impressive performance by Mayweather this is always the first one to spring to mind.

Really amazing how many times he put Corrales down considering the kind of abuse a larger and far more war torn Corrales absorbed years later.

    Fantastic performance, a masterclass really.

Any SFWT that ever lived would have had full hands with this version of Mayweather.

Brilliant performance by Mayweather. He completely neutralized any physical (range) advantage that Corrales had and whoever says Floyd can't punch... watch this one. He's not a knockout artist, but he can hit for sure.

the odds were even. #3 vs #8 p4p

but corrales was really weight drained. he was 168 5 weeks before the fight and initially weighed in at 132 and have to sweat the 2 pounds for a hour

Great performance but i wouldnt say it was an ofensive oriented fight from Floyd he was backing up the all fight.

Not to make excuses but Corrales really looked weak in that bout like maybe the making the weight had caught up to him.
