    Trainers are over-rated....much like record labels the people with the talent tend to seek them out. And just like with the recording industry more and more independents are making it big...for example Shane's dad, Kelly Pavlik's trainer, Yoel Judah, Paul William's coach, Joe Calzaghe's dad, Winky's coach, Hatton's trainer Billy whateverthehellhisnameis. Felix Trinidad's dad. You get the idea

    I honestly think trainers are overrated, I don't think Pac would fight any better or worst without roach

    good call bill butcher.
    i understand when people say that a great fighter will always be a great fighter no matter who the trainer. to make a top draw trainer it's not just knowledge but i think man managment plays a big part how to deal with the fighter.
