Jeffries & Sullivan. The Great John L, as well as a boxer and baseball player, also was in strong man competitions.

..difference being, Tszyu was training for strength.. you're training for credibilty and a serious date with your future husband LOTT.

Tyszu clean and jerked 250 over head too which is more conjusive to boxing than the bench press and more impressive than his bench too. And 260lbs bench as a 140lber is a damn good bench anyway. We all know most people talk allot of BS with their numbers

I am trying to remember where I heard this, could have been a PPV broadcast, or some up close & personal feature, or Ring. Hell, in the 90's, I was reading or watching boxing all the time, all day. Norris was a specimen, though. And as is well known, an excellent baseball prospect.

Liston would stand on his head and roll his head in four directions to strengthen his neck. Try it sometime.

Why do you think c&j has more crossover to boxing than bench press, pray?

I'd love to hear some NON bull**** numbres, Tszyu didn't bench 350@140 and I am 99% sure Rahman didn't bench 520 either. Lifelong weightlifters can't bench those numbers why would a small part of a boxer's training be better than world records.
