Stop being a dick. You know what I mean. The guy's not a complete fighter and is vulnerable against a good boxer.

 

how is he not a complete fighter?

he has great power, good jab, good footwork, good ring iq, good defense the only thing i see him lacking is hand speed, but his timing is pretty good so he wont have much problem there.

 

Good defense? He has a good disciplined guard.. but who has he fought? He hasn't fought enough threats to defend against anything!

He seems too stiff to me. Has to set his feet before he throws.. a little predictable.. How's his chin? His stamina? What happens when he fights a top level fighter and they force him backwards... Can he fight on his backfoot?

Still unproven.. a bit overhyped right now

 

he has fought good prospects, contenders and journeymen, who did you expect him to fight?

have you seen any other fights apart from the arnoutis one?

 

Okay guilty as charged. Arnaoutis was the first Ortiz fight I saw live.. but I have seen other clips and videos of him from other fights..

 

well in the arnoutis fight he was stiff as a rod but in his other fights he has usually been very fluid and relaxed.

 

name a good prospect that he's fought. Name a contender that he's fought. He's fought neither. He's fought washed up journeymen and Mighty Mike, a solid journeyman. Not trying to rip on Ortiz, he's a kid, but lets not build his resume into something it isn't.

 

actually you're right, but Arnoutis was a prospect, he was meant to do some good things before losing to Torres in a very close fight.

Khan may have superior speed but you can't teach chin.

 

I would love to see this fight or Marvin Quintero vs Khan. Quintero is solid.

I for one think that Maidana will beat him in their upcomming fight.Ortiz is overrated and will find his match in his next fight.
Maidana will knock him out.
