Question is; Will he be able to talk? He might have to have his jaw wired shut or his brain might be scrambled eggs. He will get knocked out, but I don't want to see him seriously hurt, never want to ever see that happen again to anyone.
He will say he tried his best but the size of Vlad was just too much. He will also say the typical thing that he will go back to the drawing board and see how he can improve on it. This fight is interesting when I see how confident Haye is, but in all likelyhood Haye will not stop Vlad early and will be dominated until being stopped in 3 or 4 rounds. I cannot see Haye taking much against a guy as big as Vlad. If Haye were Vlad's size I would say Haye would stop Vlad in one or two. Haye has to almost take a chance and step inside on Vlad and maybe risk being stopped to stop Vlad. We will see.
"I was on top in the first minute of the first round before I suffered an unfortunate injury caused by repeated punches to the head so really, when you think about it, I actually won the event"
You know very little about boxing son. I still need to know who Haye has beat to merit even being given a shot against Wlad. Wlad's last 5 opponents have all been more worthy of a shot than Haye. Wlad will have a very easy night against Haye. An inexperienced, chinless CW fighter that lacks the stamina to even last 6 rounds of Wlads iron fist smashing into his face like a hammer. Haye's excuses will be he is much quicker in the ring than he looks on tape, his jab is great, and of course...I am still young and I will be coming back from this.
He does not get seriously hurt, because to get seriously hurt you need a good chin to soak up continuous punishment, and we have seen from Haye's previous fights against lesser fighters than Wlad at CW that Haye's chin is bone china. Therefore, he goes down and stays down from very little punishment in this one. A complete anti-climax of a fight this one will be. One of Wlad's easiest nights.
Perhaps when he hits 38 and fights someone he probably would have brushed aside in his prime, he'll be entitled to do so. Not that Waldo will ever have the resume of Lewis. :hi:
I don't particularly care for the way Haye has conducted himself starting from the time he confronted Wladimir Klitschko on his way to a charity event right up to his macabre T-shirt. However, given the fact that Haye garnered himself a fight against the #1 heavyweight on the planet for a major payday after fighting only Monte Barrett, the term "losing" is relative.
Lol im not your son, and how on earth can you come to the conclusion that i know little about boxing when you call a guy who has never been knocked out chinless? And your also someone who thinks Hasim Rahman deserves a title shot more than Haye!? In boxing 'my son' its what you negotiate not what you deserve. Thats how boxing works these days! And you even bring up Stamina!? lol. Oh sorry it wasnt a lack of stamina it was the poisined water that Wlad had! sorry my mistake! atsch
