Yep it would be great.....however after that fight I dont think the promoters will go near another australia HW for a while unless its K Meehan.

leati, i think alex would win it. otherwise i wouldnt suggest it. alex is smart, strong, and would take an old mccall into deep water. alex would out work mccall over 10 and take the decision. and get good US exposure.

The Aussie forum gets more ridiculous every time i check........... now i'm not big noting but i took 1.75 McCall a week ago against poo finger. But honestly i'm prepared to take a 1.10 McCallb against any Aussie heavy (P.S Meehan is a kiwi)...................... Please Australians only post if u have a clue.

**** off leapea would get ktfo against mccall. I honestly don't know how some people can think fighters like leapea, hoppa, haumono are not far from the top to compete with the likes of even aged fighters such as mccall. Hell I'd still back big joe to still beat them all. Local scene at best, & if thats your best then so be it.

Yeah I think its a bit too early to call Leapai against McCall, even though I do think he'll do much better than hoppa. I guess the good thing about it would be taking in the experience and to see how he rates himself against a credible opponent even though McCall is much older. Leapai should focus on getting through all the Australian Heavyweights before moving on. If no one here will fight him, time to do a Mark De Mori and move overseas or sign with a overseas promoter...

i agree leapai would toe with McCall but for now if he can beat the top heavies such as wilson, hoppa & haumono or cameron then make a move to the states or the germans.

why move to the states? for what ungodly reason? what, so he can drag his wife and children to a high crime, filthy city? so he live away from his extended family ? so he can fight once every 4 months? so he can be miserable in unfamilliar surroundings? so he can be just another heavyweight in a sea of heavyweights, and get treated accordingly?

here in oz he has extended family support, a happy, grounded family, a freindly environment for his family to live, plenty of sparring, great coaching and management with people that care about him personally.

fights overseas will surely come. there is no need to live there. you blokes must think the US is some sort of utopia? when in reality it is a sea of slime and sharks. but hey...this is ESB aussie forum. what would you ****s know?
