Yeah me too, But people don't want to part with their hard earned cash if the card looks poor. Personally I'm not too bothered by the quality of the card, i just enjoy watching live boxing but most people want some value for money in this day and age.

Dont know if a fight with sinclair is what he should go after....if he loses i think that could be it for johnny boy.....but I would agree he should take on a real test for his next fight where he would be the slight underdog,it could bring out the best in him like against eastman....i think its a pity the route he has taken since the split with mcloughlins,he could have handled ronald hearns in january and be looking to major things,instead of being caught cold by a journey man.any thoughts on a match up with sinky lads?:think
I think Sinky would beat Duddy. I saw the Duddy-Eastman fight in the Kings Hall and I thought Eastman outboxed Duddy, who was really fortunate to get the decision. Duddy's last loss was waiting to happen as he is far too open and could have been beaten a couple of times before then. Sinky - Duddy would be an interesting match and would be a good fight.
sinky was nothing short of outstanding against coyle...but duddy is no coyle....so it would be an evenly matched fight...that sinky could shade this but i disagree with your opinion on duddy-eastman...i thought duddy deserved to win the fight by a greater margin than the referee gave it
Duddy beat Eastman handily,Eastman won rnds 4 and 5 and then the 10th when Duddy eased off. Sinclair, while a much more gifted boxer than Duddy always folds when the going gets tough.Unless he catches Duddy cold in the early going he has little chance of winning.Duddy KO6 On another note what is happening with McCloskey - is he going to fight Olesugun,Witter or Branco? And what about Gary o'Sullivan - this lad needs to fight more often
Lads I have to disagree with you on the Duddy-Eastman assessment, a lot of guys standing next to me were all saying that Duddy would be lucky to scrape it, whilst we were waiting for the judges scoring. The Duddy-Sinky fight would be interesting, especially if both fighters came with their best. If sinky is on form his combos would cause Duddy a lot of problems, as Duddy has a flawed defence imo.

frampton boxes for the midlands and white city club, on the shore road belfast...he won the irish featherweight title this year beating david oliver joyce in final....this is a minor detail, but carl is a protesant from the unionist community...very unlikely his supporters will be waving tri colours hes a fantastic addition to the professional side of the sport...and i hope mcguigan can run some shows here
Could see that alright but i think Barnes is commited to london 2012.Jamie Conlon is a flyweight coming to the pro ranks soon and his style will definetly suit the pros.
