The final analysis is always going to be up for debate, but Morales will always be my favorite out of the Mexican Triumvirate. You always knew what you were going to get out of him, a gritty, balls to the wall, memorable fight. And he never failed to deliver.

If they ever do another round of Legendary Nights, Morales - Pacquiao I better be on the list.

They better not even consider about doing that before doing Morales Barrera...

Agreed, Erik & MAB had a fiercer rivalry than Erik/Pac & the 1st EM/MAB fight was better than any fight Ive seen in my lifetime - when Morales & Barrera were at their absolute best, they were only threatened seriously by each other, they were a class above the rest around their weight.

Arguably the greatest rivalry in boxing history.

    I completely agree!
Barrera & Chavez had better skills but El Terrible had a bigger heart & bigger

Whats not to love about Erik?...true mexican warrior, who seriously fought everyone there was to fight.

Still think Fenech beats him though...that guy gets surprisingly overlooked in the States.

morales is my mexican idol. for achievement, greatness alone i think he stands shoulders above his compatriots.

in the troika of mexican greats, it will always be

    EM, MAB , JMM.

Fenech's fight with Villasano was a classic.Fenech was a monster in his prime.
