No not really. When he's patient he's better instead of getting out of control looking for KO's then he's had some trouble. With a highly technical boxer he will always have some problems, and in that I mean a truly elite fighter, but his power and speed can counter-act some of that.

his approach thats changed immensely, before it was "im gonna kill u now"

now he is more measured in his attack and fight smarter. obviously he now has alot more in his arsenal aswell. its like "im gonna kill u eventually"

he was one dimensional at that time but he can do certain technical skills in boxing like dodging and slipping. Valero is (and still) waaay worse

When Pac gets hit, sometimes he forgets to use all his tools because he wants to kill the other guy. He started to do that against Hatton for just a short time, but this time when he got hit, he kept his composure and just let the KO come.

You can't help but bring Valero up! He's not nearly as limited as you believe, and Pacquiao was never totally one-dimensional. Both are myths.

pacman was one dimensional in approach, that is true and no one can deny. its just attack after wave of attacks.

Yeah but he wasn't just a "one-handed" fighter with no defense. Larry Merchant comments how "we've not see this from Pacquiao in past fights" every damned fight! WTF is he talking about?

one dimensional in approach yes, but still had the skills to do it all. The way he smacks down that jab and throws a lead left hand counter over it, its kind of Mayweather-esque isn't it?

IMO don't get too carried away. Floyd does that **** going backwards of the ropes and so-forth. I get you're point but they're not that similar, but have great skill.
