seems no one really gives a **** about Shane Mosely around here, yet I believe his career to be greater than JONES, BHOP, DLH, and Calzaghe, this kid started out a lightweight his victories are filled with a whos who of tough and great fighters. He has ducked no one and recently crushed Margarito, yet he was always really a lightweight or Jr welter who fought at the higher weights for the greater pay and challenges. Really for the oppurtunity to face Oscar DLH, who he beat twice yet gets scant credit for.His only losses besides Cotto were against guys much bigger guys than he at weights he shouldnt have ever been at. Mosely beats everyone Mayweather has beaten, and has better victores than ESB darling Sweet Pea and yet not much love and support for one of this generations greatest fighters.

Mosely would knock Void out, but Void will never fight him.

Agree he's been a legend, But what about his last two fights?

Margarito win is ridiculously overrated. He just used the right strategy, and Margo was too limited to do anything about it. Before that he came within a fraction of losing to Mayorga - MAYGORGA!

Those two fights tell me that if Floyd accepted the match, Floyd would totally thrash him.

Void refused to fight Margarito for a big money fight, so Mosely fought him, something Void was afraid to do. Void refused to fight Cotto, Williams and ever Pac.

    Well put.

I hold Mosely in very high regard...I've always been a fan.

I'll agree with 'eem though that he is somewhat unsung around here.

Wasn't Mosley coming back from a lay off when he fought Mayorga?

    "He has ducked no one"

Floyd offered Mosley a fight multiple times and Mosley declined. Including only stating he'd fight Floyd for 10 million.

He lost to Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright. Got gifted a decision against De La Hoya in the 2nd fight and may have been on roids for the first fight, thus giving him an unfair advantage. Lost to Cotto, struggled with Mayorga.

He's rated just fine. Beat the cab driver bad, but anyone who knew how one dimensional that clown was knew it was only a matter of time.

hes not better than any of those guys you mentioned. besides that, he had some serious and factual roid issues that most definitely shed some doubt on his accomplishments.

He's had a bit of a mixed bag of a career - a couple of losses here and there that occurred at possibly critical points in his career where if he'd won he probably would have been propelled into superstardom...a dodgy win over DLH in their second fight...the aforementioned banned substance use...and also possibly because he's such a softly-spoken dude, he doesn't crave publicity and therefore has flown under many people's radar.
