    800,000 PPV :yikes:admin sure about the numbers?

    Thats $40 million bucks....must be wrong...I thought Mundine got circa 60% of PPV $....if 800,000 is right then he made $25,000,000 plus gate, plus pubs PPV, plus sponsors and Green only got $2,500,000...lol

    Doubt it was 800,000. I doubt it was 6 figures.

    Jones Jr vs Green? Not often a fight occurs where I'd want both guys to lose.

    I honestly would have to doubt that foxtel even had 800,000 customers back in 06 let alone ppv buys...lol
    I do remember main event saying at the time that it was a six figured audience and some sort of record for ppv's bought per capita.
    As for choc he was at the time the only boxer who had a 50/50 split with a ppv network in the world:deal
    So it's safe to say he made 5 mil+ but no way they could of had 800,000 buys:yikes

    Green will not fight Roy Jones. He will not fight anyone other than bums before Choc comes calling to give Nina her superannuation payout.

    Re 800,000 buys;

    From a site I found after a little digging. I'll just say now you'll never find out what numbers they get for each PPV.

    Green v Jones is of more interest to me than a fight with Mundine that may or may not ever happen again.

    800,000 ? Doubt it , Ricky Hatton has been involved in the 1st and 2nd most ever bought PPV apart from the heavyweight Tyson v Holy days apparently PBF v Hatton had 915,000 American hits alone beating PBF v ODH , Pac v Hatton came a close second to PBF v Hatton , in summing up Hatton got KTFO twice for a kings ransom , Way to go Ricky lad .

    Thats actually incorrect. The biggest PPV of all time was Floyd-De La Hoya the over 2 million buys in America.

    I would have thought 80,000 PPV's sounds a bit closer.
