According to the scene of boxing it seems that the "#1 P4P King":patsch is going to hold off on fighting Cotto or Mosley until May/JMM settle their dispute. Well if you ask me this is kind of strange isnt it? Pac Vs Cotto would be a mega fight and the only reason it isnt getting done is because of weight....Didnt Pacquiao face and defeat Oscar via TKO? Oscar is almost 5'11" but yet Pacquiao doesnt want to face a man of his stature at 5'7".... I guess the Oscar fight was really a fluke  and Mayweather was right.

Pac needs to fight Cotto as much as Mayweather needs to fight Pavlik.

Add that to the fact that Roach wants Cotto to drop to 140-142 if he wants the fight. Cotto already said that he is not going to risk his health weight draining to drop almost 20 lbs for Pacquiao.

PBF and Pavlik are two divisions apart.

I heard he wont fight Mayweather unless his hands are tied behind his back. What does it take for Pac to fight other than calling him out in his own country or loosing 20 pounds.

The fight won't really happen, I think Cotto is a bit too big and good for Roach's liking. Pac's a legendary fighter without fighting Cotto, so I don't think they'll take the risk. A fight between Mayweather/JMM winner (or Mayweather) would be much better for Pac and still legacy enhancing.

Cotto is too big, even Froch doesn't want the fight. He wants Cotto at 142, which will never happen.

If he wants 1 more fight before retirement, PBF/JMM is a better choice. A PBF fight would bring a lot of casual fans and media interest into the fight, ala Tito-DLH in 99. I think he would be competitive with Cotto; but Pac is not a welter and Cotto comes in big after weigh-in, so PBF would be a better choice.

If this fight does happen, hopefully it will be at 147 and not a catchweight.

I do agree that is a smart move it seems that cherry picking is quite popular now and days.

WTF, who's a better win PBF or Cotto? Pac is NOT a WELTER. If these welters want to fight Pac, why don't they come down to 140 then.

Different fighters same scenario. I could just picture the demands from both camps already and both sides PMSing if they dont get the upper hand.

Not that it's the way I prefer it to be, but there always seems to be a fighter in the drivers seat who's able to pick and choose fights as he likes.
