Where do you rank Vitali Klitschko all time?

Fair enough. I would personally have him at this moment below Corbett and McVea. But somewhere in the 27-30 bracket. I don't see him moving up much more though.

Vitali would jump up a few spots if he won the WBA by KOing Valuev and maybe KOing Chris Arreola or some other undefeated guys.

Ranking him at #25-30 all time is about right at this point.

There have been 109 heavyweight titleholders. Listing 20 of them who sucked (and throwing in Bowe, who many people do have ahead of Vitali) does very little to bolster your argument.

 

I don't know how much longer his going to continue though, and whether this era is strong enough to push him up to rankings. I can't really see him ever breaking a top 20 in my honest opinion.

I think there are some generous people ranking in this thread. H2H can never be a deciding factor when discussing people from different eras as things change with time, training techniques and "supplements". So we have to use resume and titles as well as popularity and fame as a minor indicator. I think everyone would agree Vitali's greatest strength is his h2h matchup, which we cant use. i would rate him around number 50th. I;ve seen other lists with him as high as 37. I would rather rate a guy who has fought top guys and lost rather than rate a Vitali who has a very weak resume.
