he has fought some tough fighters, but he makes it look very easy. I still belive he's ducking the best, fighters like mosley, margo and cotto.

I don't know the inner workings of GBP and how they negotiate fights, apparently you do.

I'm sure Mosley being a ***** is the reason GBP couldn't come up with another 5 mill. You nailed it.:good

 

thats like Roy Jones asking for 100 million to fight Lewis,he knew he would never get that money it was just a way to pretend he really was insterested in fghting Lennox when in fact he never wanted to fight him in the first place.

Still, having a hard time to understand the Margarito case. Which is much more documented than the so called Mosley ducking...

Floyd has proven himself everytime he steps in the ring. Sad but true. He showcases what makes him great and that is his talent and skills. Unfortunately during the entire career (thus far) Floyd has only really had 3 or maybe 4 "True" challenges. Corales, Castillo, DLH & Hatton. Other than that he's beaten guys who were good to decent in terms of level of his opposition. Floyd has a very good career...a very good resume but Floyd is without a doubt a GREAT boxer. It just seems his resume doesn't match his talent.

 

Not a super huge Floyd fan - but come on, he has acheived some accomplishments in the ring. He demolished Corrales, and fought good against Castillo (2) and Hernandez. Hatton was undefeated when they met as well.

He's even fought with broken hands and a torn rotator cuff.

 

Sadly yes. Floyd has never had a rival up until Pac came around.

Every great fighter can only be made great if he has a rival. Floyd will never be a top 30 ATG unless he beats Pac...because he's his rival.

Leonard had several rivals: Duran, Hagler, and Hearns

Floyd had: DLH, Pac, and Mosley...he already beat one. He has two to go

This is one of the reasons why Pac has already been sealed as an ATG unlike Floyd...he beat his rivals.

He still needs to squash Marquez again, but once Floyd is fought he's done with everything. Nothing else needs accomplishing.

 

Big difference between 20 and 100 mil. PBF actually got 20 mil plus for both Hatton and Oscar.
