I'm not feeling sorry for Alexei, I'll leave it at that. Not exactly raring to go, to be honest Moss, but at least he's not as arrogant as Luis as far as I've personally witnessed. But he's got a right puss on him too when he wants to be awkward.

Acosta is like the baby brother of the trio he will go along with whatever the other two say,If this is true then Garcia is nothing more than a punk and Hyde should sit on his contract and never let the arrogant bollix fight again,This is a damn shame he is one talented dude and Gary has really rolled out the red carpet for him.

Thats all pretty disgusting stuff podge , if listened to hyde interviews a couple of times now and he seems very genuine and what he is endeavoring to do is very good for the sport, he must be very discouraged with this and the rigo thing also. I had hear things werent all good down there but i didnt think it was that bad .
Hopefully it will all be resolved but it seems grim enough , id say arena think they will have all the crossovers shortly

What annoys me is that for some reason Arena Box are the ones that seem to be the be-all and end-all for Cubans.

But look at Solis - a fat parody of his glorious self - he has been left to run riot at parties, etc. Gamboa is getting away with it on talent alone, but he has shown the signs of "look at me, I'm amazing".

The Cuban fans on ESB think its a disaster to have their lads learning their trade over here. But they are made to work hard in the gym, even when they don't want to, and there is not nearly as many distractions as in Miami.

If they quietly went about their business over here and build good records and solid reps, then they'd get the rewards when they go to the US at the end of the year. All promoters would want them - instead they are becoming known as troublesome prima-donnas. Their loss.

Mike, to be fair, goes about his business in a good fashion. He liked the women and the grub at the start, but has settled down, to give him his due. He's believed to have been disgusted by Garcia's behaviour.

Dunne101, its down to Hyde's expectations that they work hard and McCrory's no-nonsense approach that the lid has been kept on it so long, in my opinion. I think Gary Hyde has been too good to him, but that's just my opinion.

Wow, that's horrible news. I never expected to hear problems that deep.

Gary, Öner, both put enormous amont of time and money in these prospects, but it took 1,5 years for Gamboa to look all business, now he's progressing well and seems he's respecting the trainer which was an issue before. It took a loss from a bum for Barthelemy to take things seriously, now he's very motivated. Solis, most likely the one with the most money to grab as he's a heavy, just hasn't put it together yet. Hopefully Rigondeaux won't have these issues.

I'm very sorry for Hyde and the people around him, I mean living and training away from Miami was supposed to help, also signing very young guys who never became stars or fell in love for themselves. But it's pretty well known that Cubans have problems dealing with freedom, and it's damn hard to push these guys to the limit.

Of all prospects, Erislandy Lara might have the most professional attitude.

"We are certainly hoping that our purse bid wins and if it does then I think we are looking at Paul fighting for the European title in Belfast" (John Breen)

Breen also said he is keeping his fingers crossed for a Sinclair-Duddy fight and reckons Duddy wouldnt be able to handle Sinclair's power.

Breen on Rogan-Sexton II "We are talking about September. I think the fight is definitely made. Frank Warren is coming over for a meeting in Belfast (today)
and I will have a better idea of what is in the works after talks with him. I know that Sexton is getting married in September so the date will have to take that into account"

Elsewhere, i read that Maloney offered Dunne 200k to fight Monroe...

Depressing news about Garcia, and I was convinced he had the beating of Campillo aswell. What makes it even worse is that Alexei who was also taking on a step up in competition has no fight either.

They won't get anywhere with attitudes like that, the only consolation you could take is that they're young and their attitude may improve(eg Usain Bolt, who used do quite a bit of partying, getting into mischief etc).
You really have to question what their goals are ?, do they just want the money or do they want to be very successful boxers. You hope they'd put someone like Jose Napoles as their ideal and break their bollocks to emulate him or maybe someone like Casamayor but instead Cubans seem to be the most tempermental nationality going.

Any idea what's Hyde going to do with the pair of them Podge ?
