How does this make PBF look? Serious question, not as simple as it seems since perception on ESB is a finnicky thing.
What if Pac faces Mosley and gets decapitated while Floyd fight Cotto and destroys him? How would this make Mayweather look? What if Pac faces Mayweather and gets humiliated by Floyd? How would that make Mayweather look?
Thats alot of what ifs Bigreg. What if dinosaurs still existed, would I still care about PAc? I asked a simple poll, as unbiased a poll is going to get
JMM is the same size as Manny. I guess Floyd shouldn't fight him cause he's the size of a lightweight!
i think the TS has a good and valid question, but there will always be some who will try to ruin it, coz they feel that it's a kind of attack to their favorite fighter :-(
I think both are equally afraid to fight Cotto/Mosley at welter. For those of you who say Pac doesnt need Cotto or Mosley in OCT, do you really think that? Who else will he fight? Holt? Bradley? Please both fights present big risks and little $$$. Man up Pac or wait for May who will also want a fight at WW.
People complained about Floyd not waiting for Pacquiao to finish with Hatton. Pacquiao likewise would then be open to criticism for not waiting for the winner/decision of Mayweather vs. Marquez.
It doesn't make him look any worse. If Manny fights either Cotto or Mosley it'll be in October, only a couple of months after Floyd's fight with JMM. Manny isn't stepping into the ring with Cotto or Mosley anyway. They can't make 142 like he wants them to, and he sure as hell ain't fighting them at 147.
I'd like to know how Floyd would be avoiding Pac, seeing as Pac would take the fight on October 17th when he knows Floyd is unavailable because he only fought a couple of months earlier.
i don't think pbf is avoiding pac, vice versa. there's just conflict on their availability. hope we see this fight next year
They'd just make for two more names on the list of good fighters Floyd never fought. At this point, I don't think it would change anyone's perception. People would either bend over backwards to explain why he never fought them, or keep wondering why such a good fighter has ended up with such a weak resume, same as they do now.
Pacquiao doesn't have the flashy record Floyd has, that's one excuse fans can use, but honestly availability and price are the main factors for both fighters, I don't think either fighters are ducking anyone.
i honestly believe that pac won't be fighting cotto, nor mosley, nor floyd in october. cotto and mosley won't go down to his catchweight and these two fighters would defeat pac and then floyd would not want to fight him anymore due to his loss. pretty much a fight against any one of those welters would end pac's career. pac is gonna go for a simpler opponent in october. who? i don't know.
