Mosely so underrated its criminal

many people seem to think he is in his prime now mentioning wins against margarito and close fights with cotto but had them seen him 10 years ago they would really know what he was like. he used to be lightning fast and throw great combinations. nowadays he is still pretty fast but nowhere near as he was before. he was truly great before.

 

He started his pro career at LW but he boiled his body down to LW, he was never a true LW.

His second fight with DLH is tainted because he did not win imo.

He does not have any Azumah Nelson's,Julio Chavez's on his resume.

He is underrated but you are overrating here.

Winky,Forrest are two extremely difficult fighters to overcome, if you dont hold the physical advantages. I think both of them in their prime would beat Mayweather to.

 

His achivements should be counter-balanced with they fact that he got beat/schooled? by Winky Wright twice in his prime, and lost to Vernon Forrest twice - again in his prime. He is also guilty of using performance enhancing drugs. His resume in general isn't up to much either.

I don't see how he is underrated, most people seem to have a very high opinion of him.

Ironically i think Mosley is underrated BECAUSE he fought the best consistently and Mayweather is overrated BECAUSE he has not fought the best consistently.

 

Mosley is well underrated, this is true, his career has been astonishing and hopefully he's still got a few good fights left in him.

Not lightweight. His opposition was pretty weak there and his victims were not the best fighters in the division. A win over a Steve Johnston would've helped his all-time LW ranking considerably.
