Manny Pacquiao's Next Fight Pencilled In For October 17th - Who Will Meet "Pac-Man" Next?

Reading the various chatter on the net, there are four or five names being spoken of as possibilities for Pacquiao's October foe. There's the winner of the July 18th clash between the returning Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez, there's "Sugar" Shane Mosley, there's Julio Cesar Chavez Junior, and, as an outside chance, seeing as how Pacquiao has said he has no real interest in facing him, there is Miguel Cotto. Either fight, begging the pardon of Chavez Junior, would be as good as can be expected in the quality match-up stakes.

I would love to see pac fight the winner of marquez-floyd next. Hopefully they can agree on a 50-50 so we can finally see of the 2 best in this era fight each other.

Arum does not want Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

I think he'll give in when roach and pac tell him they want no other fights other than a mayweather fight. Cotto could fight mosley and that should be another big money fight for top rank.

Because Arum knows that Floyd can and will ruin the Pac-Mans rise to the top.

Very good Mayweather has made it clear he wants no part of Pacquiao.

October might be a month or so too soon for Pac to fight the winner of FMJ/JMM, you have to take into consideration how long it takes to train for a fight & how much recovery time could be needed if the FMJ/JMM fight is a tough one for the winner.

Pacman should just keep trim & sharp & wait for the winner in either november or december rather than fight someone else, it could ruin things if he lost IMO.
