Floyd doesn't need to fight Pacman

Look Cotto is an easy fight. Pacquiao is where the battle is at

In a fight anything is possible, Baldomir's KO percentage was laughed at when he went in against Judah then the next thing you know Judah is doing the chicken dance every punch he takes. It was also laughed at going in against Gatti and you saw what happened there. This is a legitimate combat sport, it's not WWE, anything is possible in there including permanent disabilities and deaths.

Cotto has issues with aggressive fighters, Margarito is hardly more skilled than Baldomir and you saw what happened there. Torres is hardly more impressive than Baldomir either and we saw what NEARLY happened there. When the bell ring all this "KO percentage" and "Not popular enough" junk flies out the window otherwise Foreman would have whopped Young and we would've had Foreman/Ali II rather than Ali/Young.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Cotto fan and have been since he was an amateur and was hyped up for his "Professional" rematch with Abdulaev like it was Tyson/Lewis but being logical is only reasonable regarding styles and Cotto doesn't do good against pressure fighters with stamina. If Torres didn't run out of gas it was obvious what would have happened there. Cotto most likely outboxes Baldomir but anything is also possible there as Baldomir proves he has a quality chin.

These fights will eventually come, all I'm saying is that a Pacquiao fight SHOULD come first because that's the fight the majority would rather see. Start a thread and ask members what fight would they rather see after Mayweather/Marquez, Pac/Mosley or Cotto. Hell even sports programs that BARELY cover boxing bring up that fight.

 

Apes on this board don't judge ****, otherwise we would have had Margarito fighter of the year 2007 for beating Golden Johnson and losing to Paul Williams rather than Mayweather.

I'm just looking forward to what Mayweather is set to bring and hoping Pacquiao is first on the list then he can go for Mosley/Cotto or Clottey. But Pacquiao fight is what people demand. You might prefer a Mosley fight or a Cotto fight and that's your opinion, nothing wrong with it, I just prefer a Pac fight first.

 

Well just break down then fight then. Cotto gets hit alot, speed is not that great, Power is preety good. Pacquiao- gets hit but not more then Cotto, way faster, and the southpaw stance already makes Pacquiao a harder fight. plus if Mayweather beat Cotto its proving what?? Mosley is still the champ.If Cotto can beat Clottey and Mosley then the fight would mean something, Cotto just got his belt of a fool named Jennings, Mayweather beating him does nothing

 

Well that's your opinion though, it just seemed to turn into a discussion because I assumed you said HE SHOULD fight others and completely ignore Pacquiao.

About Judah/Cotto, Cotto looked like he was about to hit the canvas in the FIRST round after the FIRST uppercut Judah landed. You do realise why FIRST ROUND comes in caps?, it's because it's the first round where you are 100% fresh and ready to go the distance. Judah landed those same punches at Baldomir and he didn't even blink. Cotto had to low blow his way to a 2 minute break.

 

I could care less what these idiots say, did you miss one article like one month after Floyd retired where one writer said "Why did Floyd retire, doesn't he want to fight Margarito?, Kelly Pavlik?". :rofl

Don't pay attention to clowns man, these are just clowns who beg for certain fights just to hope Mayweather loses, if he wins then it means "nothing" yet they get silenced by how the public views it. A good example is the praises Margarito got in 2007 for being an all-time gladiator, you would assume that he would get 2007 fighter of the year EASILY or maybe even Pacquiao, then next thing you know Mayweather got it.

Use these cockroaches for laughter as in the long run people who actually mean something in the sport judge it differently. Doug Fischer is also a Margarito nuthugger, he admits to it, I don't see him talking much since Margarito kissed the canvas and was exposed a cheater.
