Who is the bigger draw, who is the bigger star?

    Keep in mind that:

Floyd did better numbers with ODL and Hatton....he doubled Paq's numbers

    Ask yourself:

Which one of these guys is recognized more by the mainstream public and non boxing fans?.....clearly Floyd

Dont't me wrong Manyy is a great, great fighter, but if this fight does not happen because of money then you must conclude that Manny and his team never really wanted this fight and are underhandedly ducking Floyd

60-40 for Floyd is absolutely fair, that is still like 20 Million plus dollars for Pacquiao

    by far his biggest payday

In the United States, it's Mayweather. In the Philippines and Mexico (because of his fights with JMM, Barrera, and Morales) its Pacquiao for sure.

    In the US. It's Mayweather.

    Look at the numbers.

Pac's had more PPV and less buys.

    Its a ridiculous comparison really.

Pac-ODLH vs PBF ODLH. DLH was coming off an spectacular KO of Mayorga where 900k watched him to do the deed. Fight looks forward to PBF-DLH because of DLH form and the fact that he's made a successful comeback, the fight is seen as even. In the Pac fight the fight was called a circus act as many thought DLH would simply walk through Pac and there were many talks of boycotting the fight too, DLH also left a sour taste in peoples mouth after the boring fight with PBF where a lot of the public felt cheated, DLH was also coming off a loss to PBF and lackluster performance over Steve Forbes. Compare the 2 fights, PBF was very clearly in a better selling point. To add to that 1 major player in the PPV game, the economy...the economy was being brought up before ODLH-Pac was even announced.

    Pac-Hatton vs Hatton-PBF.
Both fighters were undefeated. After Hatton lost he lost a lot of his appeal in America...there was also the economy factor. Baring those 2 major factors in mind, PBF still only managed to draw 75k more buys... Putting that difference into perspective, Pac-Solis, a tuneup fight did 250k before the economy went into a state, Pac-Diaz, a LW championship fight at higher weight where Pac would be making history only did 150k-200k after teh economy worsened.

Simply put, PBF damaged both DLH & Hatton's selling power by the time they got to Pac and with the economy going bust, it should have been expected for Pac to do lower numbers.

Now people are gonna bring up JMM-PBF too when that draws higher numbers....obviously it will. Its fought at a higher weight class meaning more fans and PBF is an established mainstream boxer, whereas Pac wasnt when he fought JMM. JMM has also become a much bigger draw since.

After Pac's last fight, he had gotten ALOT of exposure. IMO they are about the same.

If they fight a 50/50 is fair.

Better question who would you rather pay to see fight ? I think this should be pretty damn unimaous. **** who the draw is whos more exicting is what matters. Floyds fights make us pay 60 and we wind up wishing we wouldnt have paid 60 cents for the mess. Pacquiaos fights are entertaining usually one sided but he goes for the kill everytime.
