Thats the way it is my friend.....after the Mayweather-DLH fight, I came away thinking Mayweather has outclassed DLH, but my scorecard read differently simply because of Mayweather poor workrate......he was literally taking entire rounds off in retreat and on the ropes, while DLH was winning those rounds on my card on activity.

Let me inform you that boxing is scored round by round....and if you properly do that, as a judge must do, DLH-Mayweather is a close fight.

Again, the difference in class between them showed, but Mayweather just could'nt carry the brilliance through an entire fight......
......If Mayweather does this vs JMM, I'm guaranteeing you, its upset city and Mayweather fanboys in tears on July 18th....:yep:lol:

Mayweather better be ready to bring it and fight a full fight on July 18th, or he's going to find that the smaller more active fighters may actually turn out to be his worst nightmare.:bbb:bbb:bbb

I'm a Mayweather fan but I wish he'd stop pissing about and just get on and fight Cotto, Pacquaio and especially Mosley. Williams can **** off an fight in the land of the giants.

Beating these guys is well within his capability but he wants top money to fight them.

But fans don't realise all 3 of these haven't been in a rush to fight FMJ, they know they'd probably lose and want top top money for facing him. Also Arrum has been doing his utmost to **** about anyone who isn't signed to him, ie FMJ.

Anyway lets wait and see what happens, FMJ might not even beat Marquez who is a great fighter in his own right, its not all about weight.

I had the fight by one round for Floyd.....but a Draw wouldn't have been a crazy decision. By all means the fight was incredibly close.

Floyd's proved if he didn't make it in Boxing he'd be a big hit in Marathon Running as he's been running for a number of years now.

I hear all of that but the fight that matters the most of a fight against somebody that he has to fight at a disadvantage. i.e. Mosley or Paul Williams as long as they keep on winning but fighting Manny is a fight that makes sense because he can make millions whilst going into the fight confident that he holds an advantage physically over him. He does not hold a physical advantage over Williams or Mosley and that is what people want to see, if Floyds talent can take him so far to pull out victories over those guys. Fighting Pacquiao makes sense because the people are asking for it and it will attract all of the casual mainstream fans.

We're in aggreement. Fighting and beating JMM and Pac may turn out not to be an easy feat, but that still does'nt take away from the fact that Mayweather up to this point has been unwilling to take on the top fighters in the weight class he wants to weigh in at.

You dont score rounds on work rate or activity, you score rounds based on clean effective punching and ring generalship. If the neither puncher is landing clean blows, then you can use activity as a crux. However, it is quite clear that FLoyd won every round past the 9th, and a correct scorecard should be firmly 8-4 to Floyd. 7-5 at best.

If you believe Oscar won round 9-12 without even landing more then 7-8 punches in any of those rounds. I dont know what to tell you. You need to review how to score fights.
