its pretty understandable that mayweather comes in as favorite in every bout he fights. he is undefeated for one. but relying on the bookmakers odds alone doesn't guarantee a win. let's just wait and see how he will fare against marquez..
I beg to disagree. One can't win a boxing match on pure defense! It's the punch that scores and produces KD or KO.
I know Pac is brilliant and Oscar had lost half of his last 6 fights, but I thought he would at least rehydrate after the weigh in by up 15-20Lbs to have a good chance.Staying at 147 in the ring,he was doomed. Outweighing Pac and being strong and durable against the PFP1 was his best shot. But he wasnt.Which is his own greedy fault.
Don't think it's because he's undefeated, Pacquiao's first two losses happened LONG ago when he was 0% compared to what he is now. Even his loss to Morales had it's share of issues, a serious cut too early in the fight and gloves.
I don't understand why some people think that Oscar will rehydrate 15-20lbs come fight night when he was already weighing 147lbs 2weeks before the fight. Oscar needs to be 15-20lbs over 147lbs the day before the weigh-in so that all he will lose during the weigh-in is the water in his body. Then he can rehydrate to 15-20lbs during the fight night.
Everyone currently believes that no one can beat Floyd because of his defense and skills. However, as history proves, every fighter has someone waiting in the wings who is a perfect stylistic match up and is a bit more determined on fight night. Can Pac do it. Yes. Will he? Don't know, it's up in the air, I do think Pac can achieve based on style and determination.
