morales is just too big for hamed. reach of 72 compared to hamed 63. ppl seem to forget how big morales was for a bantum and featherweight. hamed was a midget of 5"3
Anyone who has seen Morales getting hit solidly by Jesus Chavez,In Jin Chi,McCullough needs to realize he is going down, if he gets hit like that by Hamed and possibly not getting up. Zarrogoza and Jesus Chavez both stunned Morales momentarily. I dont think Zarragoza was a noted puncher. Im not trying to say Morales has glass chin but if he walks onto Hamed's its lights out. Bungu had never been down or knocked out when he fought Naz. Naz had all knockouts from 94 to 98. What happened when Sanchez,Ingle,Kelly tried to press Naz ? Morales does not have the ring generalship of Barrera to use the ring and stay away from Hamed.
Morales was NOT a better outside Boxer and NOT a better counterpuncher than Barrera. In fact I'd dare say I think Barrera won all 3 fights against Morales. Especially if you watch their 3rd fight, Barrera beat him everywhere. Barrera had more of a Boxing base while Morales can Box but liked to slug more. Morales would not have kept Nas at bay by using distance trying to Box. That game plan worked for Barrera, it would not have worked for Morales. It would have been a different fight.
Then go and rewatch those fights again cause Morales was always outboxing Barrera when they were not fighting on the inside were Barrera got the best of him cause he was the shorter fighter and got the best of Morales on the inside.
Yes and dont try to act dumb Morales had Barrera from the distance and Barrera had Morales on the inside.
Ummm maybe you should watch that fight again and stop acting dumb. Barrera beat Morales from the distance also. Barrera landed his hook several times and beat Morales to the punch. Not all of that was on the inside.
Obviously you havent seen the 2nd fight - the only fight were Morales doesnt go inside vs MAB - when Morales kept it on the outside he was outboxing Barrera. Barrera was a pressure fighter & slugger at 1st that learned to become a better boxer later on..... Morales was a well schooled boxer from day 1 that loved to brawl in most fights.... Barrera will never be a better boxer than Morales, Morales was better schooled from early on. Ps. your judgement is **** if you even pretend MAB won all 3 of those fights.
Of course Barrera beat Morales to the punch from distance ON OCCASSION.... Morales landed the better punches inside on occassion too.... Dont YOU act dumb, you know what JM22 is saying.... he says Morales MOSTLY gets the better of Barrera from distance & Barrera MOSTLY gets the better of Morales on the inside..... & you act as if that 3rd fight was some white wash it was an even fight on mines & a lot of other cards, 6-6 in rds (no more than 7-5 either way)
Well Barrera ended up becoming a better Boxer than Morales IMO. He utilized his jab much better than Morales, he let his hands go in combination, and fact is he won 2 out of 3 with him and I feel he won the first fight also and so did the HBO analysts that night. You giving your opinion is cool but your judgement is **** too because it's already over and done with. You saying Barrera will never be a better Boxer than Morales is really dumb to be honest. So those that eventually became good Boxers will never be as good someone who was schooled early on? That's a shitty opinion. Maybe somebody should have said that to Pacquiao when he kicked Morales ass the 2nd and 3rd fights when he needed to adjust and Box more. Fact is Barrera outboxed and outslugged Morales in the 3rd fight. It was Barrera's (in your eyes) less Boxing skill that was the ingrediant to beat Morales. Ps. I don't give a **** what you think about my judgement, and regardless of how you scored it doesn't mean **** either :yep
