    Good calls.

They both had some other good performances, but these stand out as the ones where they took their games to another level.

I would've picked the Pazienza rematch as the fight where Haugen put it all together. He really looked awesome in that fight, fought with a lot of fire and put all his tools together nicely.

Yeah, but being the fist guy to beat Camacho was probably more significant then beating Pazienza.

carl the Truth Williams against an older Larry Holmes..a glimpse of greatness to come?? i thought his future was going to be bright...same can be said also for Tim Witherspoon against Larry.... both 80's heavies who had the skill but not the will..... or maybe the chin in Carls' case

His performance against Lopez was truely a masterpiece. Conteh was able to hold Lopez at bay like no other ever had...Even though he did not score the KO that guys like Muhammad and Spinks would, his jab was able to limit lopez's effectiveness and agression. I would call this Conteh's best performance, but don't believe he was a one hit wonder either way!

I have to go with Douglas / Tyson and Spinks win over Ali, both fights left you with your jaw dropping.

Kalambay was consistently top-notch in his performances from 85 through to 90.I think the fact he turned pro late and didn't have a long prime because of it was his main problem.

Everybody says Douglas but Douglas had a couple of good wins leading up to the Tyson fight in McCall and Berbick and a very close fight in the Tucker loss. I like Wepner/Ali that was really out of the blue, Wepner I think said he was given $80,000 for the fight and it was the first time he ever had enough money to train seriously for a fight.

    Fenech vs Nelson I

Jeff was a good scrapper but in this fight i thought he was outstanding. Pity he was robbed in one of the worst decisions ive seen. Azumah took him to school in the rematch but in this fight Fenech was superb

(IMO, Bowe was an ATG that night!, Would have giving any HW fighter all-time a scrap)
