And also I voted for #1, to be fair most of his hate is broght on by himself. He could fight the people hes supposed to but insted he fight people who can pad his record and give him a easy payday. A 0 on your record only means you havent fought the best.

 

As a lifelong pugilist fan, I feel a sort of self-righteous indignation towards some fighters of alleged greatness. I'm talking about Floyd Mayweather. I don't like him, and never will. He knows he is not liked and that is good enough for me. Very few boxers can carry the precarious burden of being a "Great Fighter",and it isn't F.M. Without a fair measure of humility, you are nothing.

 

Yea when Ali was fighting Im sure a lot of white folks hated him too...hell the american government hated Ali...People hate any Black person that brags and acts flamboyant.... Its that old "stay in your place *****" syndrome...

Funny thing about hate is that it always seems to follow the best fighters of a generation...Robinson was a very much hated fighter, Ali was a hated fighter, Leonard was a hated fighter, Jones was a hated fighter, and then floyd was a hated fighter.

I think that the level of hatred show that many know and feel that they are the best fighters around but simply dont like them. As a result they make up and say baseless and untrue bull**** to try and sway others to feel the hate they feel towards that fighter.

Fact is when you look at all greats in any sport you will find that they have at best as many haters as fans. But most likely they have more haters then fans.
