I could bring up Roy Jones's wins over left handers but no one is going to convince me Roy did not have trouble with left handers, even before he lost to Tarver that was evident. Corley caught him early in the fight, Judah was outboxing him. Mitchell was average at best as was Corley. Judah it could be said is nothing more than a B class fighter. I think you agree deep down that Mayweather was not great at fighting left handers.
he's mentioned chavez many times...he said augustus a few times too, but he has mentioned chavez as one of his toughest....
Anyone can get caught. Judah was not outboxing Floyd. Even the first 4 rounds that Floyd haters like to harp on, Floyd outlanded him 27-25 and doubled his punch output. Judah is simply a fast starter as evident in the Cotto fight who cant maintain that level for a full fight. And from round 5-12 it was a whooping. Not close. Not contested. But a pure whipping. Nah. I work with facts. Most folks struggle with styles they arent used to. I dont think there is anything inherent in south paws that Floyd struggles with, infact he looks his best against them and resorts to a more pleasing fighting style. Again, Floyd has dominated the 3 southpaws he has faced. I see no reason to assume that south paw is his weakness.
I actually like Calzaghe one of my favorites when he was active and respect JCC I don't like Margo because I always thought he was overrated. I don't dislike Cotto but think he's somewhat overrated.
So you dont think Judah won the first 4 rounds ? Do you know why Floyd was more aggressive against the Southpaw fighters he had faced ? because he understands that the majority of the time you HAVE to put pressure on Southpaw's to have success, that is the reason why there is a pattern between those 3 fights. You dont get any change out of Southpaw's unless you pressure them. Why do you think Jones has problems with Southpaw's ? because you have to put pressure on them and that is not Jones's game, he is essentially a defensive fighter that waits for you to take the lead so he can counter, that is why he looks less than impressive against left handers because he is out of his element when he has to be more aggressive. If Mayweather even fought a Southpaw in Whitaker's league he would get white washed to imo.
He certainly didnt win round 3. He may have won round 1,2 and 4. But thats it. Complete sweep for Floyd the rest of the way. I know this. Still doesnt change the fact that he completely dominated. :rofl How many southpaws have there been in Whitakers league? Ummm 1 Whitaker?
i dont know but i feel my black mates hates chavez because he murder every single black man alive .... except for the Sweet Pea Runaker who is an ATG top 15 ( so is chavez) so ... be objectives *****s .... Pd. i am a Puerto Rican *****
There is nothing to suggest that Floyd beats JCC other than style's but i think JCC would catch up to Floyd late in the fight and stop him. Floyd is not half the fighter that Whitaker was. And Chavez would of been like Castillo 10x.
Nah. Chavez murdered far more Mexican cabbies then he did black fighters. If anyone has beef with Chavez it should be the Mexican cabbie organizations. Mexican janitors also could have a slight beef.
Well he gets buzzed by Corley and outboxed by Judah and his own father said something to the effect of dont ever put him in there with a Southpaw. I take it he means a good Southpaw as appose to Corley, because you see the sporadic success lower tear lefty's had against him. Spadafora is a left to isn't he ? I dont know what you are laughing at, that is my point, you bringing up the draw (loss) to Whitaker loss is no shame what so ever because Floyd would also lose to hm.
