People actually think Frank Warren will let Khan fight abroad?

Otherwise he would go to Germany for his title fight?

Why would anyone duck someone they stopped as an amateur or pro. Khan late stoppage.

Ok lets see Khan was ko'd by a bum and beat an aged Barrera on cuts. In amateur boxing speed determines a winner in the pros now its all about power and agression. I doubt Khan would survive the fight their is no way Warren will allow this fight. Lets be honest Khan is at best a great club fighter. Whereas, Ortiz is a marquis fighter.

This could be a huge fight in a year or so.
Ortiz has star potential and Khan, whatever his faults are, can already sell 20,000 tickets if he's fighting anyone with a pulse.
I'm never going to predict a Khan fight - he has the tools to trouble any fighter in the world but he can also be stopped by anyone.
In general, people go on about chins too much (on here it seems like anyone who's ever been on the canvas has a "glass chin") but Khan seems to have no punch resistance whatsoever.

Well, lets wait and see how Ortiz will fare against a capable and dangerous opponent.Up to now Ortiz has only beaten a handful of American clubfighters,no-hopers,and very limited journeyman.
Maidana plays in a different league.I am very sceptical that Ortiz plays in the same league.
Easy to look great against soft opposition.

Of course, you may be right, and may be wrong.
I am looking forward to their encounter!:good

IF Ortiz can come back, it might happen in 2011, but that's a big IF.
