I had Pac winning by 2 points.

People always say that Marquez won the 3rd round - I just cannot understand that at all. It is the very dictionary definition of a 10-10.

That Marquez won 11 rounds is the biggest myth in boxing. I don't see it at all. I think he won the second fight by a point though.

I will rewatch the 1st fight but as far as the seond fight my score is this:

    1. Pac 10-9
    2. JMM 10-9 (clearly)
    3. Pac 10-8 (clearly)
    4. Pac 10-9 (clearly)
    5. JMM 10-9 (clearly)
    6. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)
    7. JMM 10-9 (Clearly) *
    8. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)
    9 Pac 10-9 **
    10. Pac 10-9 (Clearly)
    11. JMM 10-9 (Clearly) ***
    12. JMM 10-9 (Clearly)

    FINAL: 114-113 for JMM.

    * This is a easy round to score but people might not see it that well, before the Marquez cut JMM was winning the round with ease, after the cut Pac makes a comeback and he might be winning the round by a bit but after 2 or 3 seconds he tries to keep going against jmm and he gets countered hard, so the round goes to jmm by a bit, until here to the end of the round jmm keeps winning the round making it clear...

** Difficult round to score but I would give it to pac, Pac starts winning the round good, then jmm makes a comeback and he might tie the round but after 2 seconds pac connects a hard straight left going the round for pac, then in the last 30 secs marquez makes a comeback again and he might tie the round again but in the last second pac connects a hard straight left to win the round...

*** This might be difficult to score for some people because pac finish the round with a nice right hook but if you separate the round in parts you can see it wasnt enough clearly those last 5 seconds for pac...

A very close fight but if you watch it well the rounds were not difficult to score, this was a close fight with clear rounds for each fighter going the fight for jmm...

I had Marquez winning like 9 of the last 11 rounds he gave Pacquiao a clear boxing lesson.

Who's staying in the dark. I just told you I scored 3 rounds for Pac in the first fight and it's been years since I've seen it so I don't remember the rounds(other than the obvious first).

And even the second fight, although I saw JMM win by 1 point, 7/5 in rounds I'd have to see it again in order to remember which rounds I gave to each fighter.

I don't become obssessed with fights as some of you seem to be!

Bottom line: in 24 rounds of fighting I have JMM winning 16 rounds to Manny's 8 therefore I understand when people say JMM put on a shooling on Pac. Of course Manny's power is what kept the fights close on points!

In reponse to the original post, give Marquez round 3 and all the even rounds, and you get the same scorecard I did - 113-112 Marquez (8-4 Marquez with the knockdown).

I had the same score for the 2nd fight. Don't know about rounds though.

Meaning I had Marquez a one point winner in each fight. Hence why I used to not seperate the two on the p4p list, and after Manny's recent performances, rate Manny number 1a and Marquez number 1b (pound for pound).

good for you but you are still avoiding the question

and the fact that you havent seen the fight in years but defend that no way Pac could win more than 3 rounds shows your biases and lack of reasoning.

Also thank you for reinforcing my point that JMM fans refuse to talk about the specifics in the first fight but are more than willing to talk about the rematch.

The first fight has some hard-to-score rounds.
Either guy winning by a point is fair enough.
I thought the rematch was much easier to score - 114-113 JMM.
7 rounds to 5 every day of the week.
