The IBF would sanction a Polar Bear vs a Grizzly. There a ****ing disgrace. They forced Dawson to vacate because of some **** mandatory and the ****s want their 10%.
I know they were on about Adamek v Godfrey or Adamek v Flores, this however is a complete and utter joke.
I'm sure Claypole will look forward to this one Claypole = a huge Bobby Gunn fan. Bobby Gunn is a limited jounrneyman - but he must be a hard *******. Enzo Maccarenelli was being hailed at the time as thee hardest puncher pound for pound in the milky way by Frank Warren and various other boxing experts Enzo assured everyone too - all he has to do is hit someone flash and they are out cold However Gunn while desrtoyed inside the 1st round - shipped some huge shots from the hardest puncher on earth - and still managed to finish the fight on his feet at least
The IBF would have stripped him if he hadnt of faced his mandatory which was some tin can. Call a spade a spade instead of meandering.
The IBF keep shooting themselves in the foot. I like their policy of forcing champions to fight their mandatories instead of cherry picking..... but the mandatories they impose are ****ing shite.
The IBF are jokers, and the WBA are even worse. And people **** on the WBO like they are the ugly duckling! Not in a million years. They take their lead from these clowns, the so called "big 3".
Bob Lee - the IBF President at the time - was convicted of fraud. Also the IBF seem to have this unwritten rule - if it is a close round you MUST award it to the champion. Very bizzare.
There is a debate on the General Forum regarding the scoring of close rounds. Why not just score them 10-10 rather than guessing.
