    Why?

Meehan is ranked # 1...Brewster is # 8....its Meehans chance.

I'm sure the WBA is planning to anoint him Regular Interim Champion Emiritus in Recess, or something equally ridiculous.
I doubt they'll strip him and deprive themselves of a sanctioning fee should he ever fight again?

I suppose at least Brewster has been training for a fight. If it's down to ranking then I Meehan should get his chance. Perhaps Brewster had a better chance of beating Valuev.....

Because Brewster would've won. Meehan won't although I'll be pulling for him.

And Chagaev should be forced to retire if he has Hep.

I'm gutted. That's dissapointing and it's ****ed me right off. Meehan is a fairly decent replacement and I hope he does a job on Valuev.

Good point about the ranking and I'm sure that is the reason for it. I also didn't realize that Meehan was on the undercard, the article made it sound like he off doing something else.

From my own point of view, I think Brewster would have a much better chance of beating Valuev.

Dont write off Meehan yet....he had a great fight against Brewster and lost a SD.

KM is a keen as mustard to win this fight :bbb

I say put Pac man in there.........

of course with the height difference, his best punch would be an overhand right to the nuts!

    No.

Meehan isn't bad persay but in this man's meaningless opinion, he's pretty much a gimme for Valuev. That said if Kali can break up the unholy trinity then hey god bless em.

Because hes ranked number 1 in the WBA.....he needs the best prep for the fight......thats why its crap.....if he gets beat he may never get another shot.

Are you saying 3 days notice for a WT shot is fine :huh
