Cotto couldn't dent Margo's body because he refused to throw there. He head hunted all night wanted to look flashy.

No, he didn't throw to the body because he didn't want to leave his head exposed. Had nothing to do with flashiness.

    Bull**** it didn't.

Cotto has one of the best body attacks in the business. He was easily slipping and dodging margo early on while he head hunted.

Cotto got to into his hype of his own power and wanted to be flashy. Look at all the times he raised his hand like he was doing something amazing.

Mosley comes in and breaks Margo down to the body with ease.

Cotto's body attack is better and yet he couldn't get there? Please, Margo is slow and lacks good accuracy.

i mean, think about it...the NSAC provide their own tape and gauze and are pretty more well rounded than the CSAC as far as boxing goes...do you really think he used them for cotto...

it puts me in a hard place cause cotto is my fav, but come on now, cotto didn't even invest in the body once against a high volume puncher....

plus, people who dog margo but root for mosley, tyson, toney, vargas etc etc are ****en idiots....

Nope. He was looking out for his chin. Period. Second fight, same result.

Everyone looks out for their :patsch

Cotto refused to go to the body against Margo. Margarito was WIDE OPEN for the shots. There's no way in hell Cotto was protecting his chin so he didn't go the body.

yeah, cotto is way too smart to fall into his own hype bull****.....to me, he was hoping to get away with a tko, or a cut stoppage, but i honestly do think he was looking out for his chin.....i mean, he's good with his feet, but that night he was great and was right out asap......

Cotto fought Margo the wrong way, he isn't hard to hit, and if he was afraid to get countered while going to the body maybe he should have counter to the body himself instead of the head. He was headhunting and that was one of the mistakes that made Margo's job easier.
