If Peter's can put up enough cash to lure Cabellero to Dublin then Bernard has a hell of a chance but don't tell anybody, i like it better when he's the underdog with no pressure on him. On the other hand a big Vegas show could also be on the cards as Peters has said all along the plan was to take Bernard Stateside.
About 20% imo, Caballero is just so tall that you're never out of range and he's got a good punch on him too. Better than that of Cordoba.
imo dunne should stay away from caballerro.hes only been in with one world class opponent and now he wants to fight one of the best fighters on the planet....hold up bernard! fight the thai
Ain't seen much either but from what i have seen he is a very good fighter who keep's busy with a good jab, Good accuracy and enough power to trouble Dunne, However he struggled in his last fight and all the signs are he is struggling to make 122 and wants to move up to 126, could be another case of great timing for Bernard. That's the big problem, the man is a freak of nature and a nightmare stylistically, I don't think he has the speed of Dunne though and if Bernard can slip some of those big looping jab's and counter Cabellero he might have some success. If Peter's can get the fight made in Dublin, then Dunne would once again benefit from one of the best crowds anywhere on the planet, although unlike Cordoba Cabellero travels well, but i would have to give Dunne more than just a 20% chance, that's selling Dunne just a bit short imo.
I think Bernard deserves his shot at all the world class fighters now, no shame if he loses to these caliber of fighters and when he retires he can hold his head up and say he faced the best. Everybody wrote Dunne off after Martinez, Everybody wrote Dunne off before the Cordoba fight and Everybody will write him off if he get's one of the big guns at 122 but personally i will never write off Bernard Dunne ever again, he has shown me that he has the biggest heart in the world and has overcome a lot of adversity to get to the stage he is now at and if he does get a shot at Cabellero and can manage to pull off another big upset win then nobody will be able to doubt his World Title credentials again. No point fighting the second tier of the division when there could be a fight with Cabellero on the table.
Agreed, I think Cabellro been given way too much credit for his win over Moliter who froozed against him. The likihood is and general consensus would be that Bernard would lose, but never write him off:deal
