Fury was thinking of fighting Sam Peter next.

Peter is an over-rated hype job and I am really glad I didn't buy into that nonsense.

 

Or, was he ever relevant?

 

Peter would crush him.

 

I remember people on here were calling Peter the next Mike Tyson in 2004 & 2005. :roflatsch

 

Way too fast. Peter doesn't exclusively struggle against tall heavyweights. He slaughtered 7 something feet tall Long in one round.

Give it a while, Fury.

 

Why doesn't he just concentrate on clearing up the British scene first? He could fight Skelton, Williams, Sprott, Rogan etc and build up a nice record in the time-honoured fashion and then move up to world level in a couple of years, that would seem the most sensible career path to me.

 

fury need to relax and fight 10 more no name bums and fight a top 10 guy. thats just the way it goes

 

Not with Fury. He's fighting better and better opposition with every fight. His last opponent, Scott Belshaw, is no bum. He was 10-1(7) and had avenged the defeat
