Yes, a number of us have seen what is so ****ing obvious. Margarito must be under SERIOUS suspicion in all of his significant fights. I would bet my bottom dollar that Margarito has cheated before, and against Cotto.

 

You miss the point.

The fact that Margarito was using his rockgloves prevented Cotto from being able to engage effectively as he normally does. The fact that Cotto was being hit back by plaster and not just by boxing gloves impeded his own strategy. This, in turn, made the fight take a different shape than if Margarito had not been cheating.

If Margarito had not been cheating, I believe Cotto just would have run down the line to a decision, the direction he was headed.

The fact that Cotto faded down the stretch while being beaten bloody by loaded gloves should NOT be counted against him. It is difficult to imagine anyone who wouldn't, even against the slow plodder that is Antonio Margarito.

He was very wrong and biased in his calling of Margo-Cotto, and it appears he can't let it go.

He's an HBO company man, a tainted figure whom Jim Rome will no longer let guest host his radio show and a person who regularly embarrasses himself while calling fights.

I really used to like Lamps, but he is currently little more than a Home Box Office lapdog. This Cotto proclamation is par for the course.
