Good call by Mosley. This would set him up with PBF if he wins against Pac.
Though it's a big question mark if Pac would take the fight.

Even I have said I think this is Mosely's best, most likely option. The TV money would be there for it I'm sure. HBO would love this fight. I don't think Mosely can get a better fight right now. He already turned down Cotto.

I wonder how low Mosley is willing to go. :think I get the feeling that Mosley is starting to feel a bit desperate and I'm sure Pac's teams will use this to their advantage.

Why did he turn Cotto down??????????

I think they wanted him for the next fight, but Mosely felt Cotto had 'home' advantage fighting at MSG on PRI Day.

I would pick Mosley over Pac at 147 or 144. Who would you pick?

Thanks! - That move by Mosley may have put his return bout with Cotto on the rocks for a long time then ... Arum likes getting even.

Shane is an all-time favorite of mine but that's just ridiculous. There's no way in hell Shane would knock him out in five rounds considering what Williams can offer. People need to drop the Quintana talks already as Williams proved he didn't take that serious enough by actually showing up awake in the rematch and that didn't last more than one round.

The activity, size difference and power will be far too much for Shane to handle at this stage. I would pick Williams by decision in this one.

He never turned Cotto down, he simply stated that he wants to fight Cotto again but won't do it at MSG. No offer was ever made and it hasn't seemed that Cotto has been real interested in a re-match anyway. And for the people talking that Pac won't fight above 140, Roach said last week on FNF's that they'd be interested in a Mosley fight at 143-144.

I agree with you Scar, Mosley needs to stay far away from Williams. I think Williams would take a UD. Plus at this point theres not a lot of $ in it and Mosley deserves some big pay days to end his career.

Problem is I'd pick Mosely for many of the same reasons I picked Hatton. :patsch

Well, if Mosely didn't let it get to offer stage because of the venue, what does that say about his confidence? I'm not going to dig back to find out how serious it was, but it was my impression at the time that it would get made if Mosely wanted it.

Seriously, everyone knew where this fight would be held. If Mosely nixed it early on because of the venue what difference does it make if the offer was 'official'?

I think Pac will fight Cotto if Cotto wins his fight.
