Terrible, terrible post. Perhaps one of the worst in East Side Boxing Forum history.

No not another Chin expert.....I gotta agree on this post though as fast or as good as Khan is, he will have to cherry pick his way up there like he has but until he faces another solid fighter with some pop nights out.

Hype job? Froch is not a hype job. He has created everything he now has with blood, sweat and tears. He is the definition of a non-hype job.

yes, Pavlik did KO him. However, in the rematch at 166 (practically 168), Taylor did a lot better (some even thought he won) and then put a pointless beating on Lacy (not hard).

Because Froch is a warrior. He has only had 25 fights. He has been fighting and totally outclassing domestic fighters waiting for his chance at the big time. He gets in there will two of the best North American SMWs and pulls out the win in very exciting fashion both times. Look for him to get better and in even more wars.

JT schools everyone early. Hopkins went behing early. Pavlik was having his head teed off on like a speed ball but he is a very tough cookie and came back. Just like Froch.

Froch's dream is to fight Calzaghe. Calzaghe beat Hopkins.

I have. It was just that bad a post I can safely assume it was one of the worst.

Would Hopkins want it? When someone posted a few months back that Hopkins should fight Froch he was laughed off the forum, the consensus being that there would be no money in it for him and it would do nothing for his legacy.

Hopkins was interested in Froch but Froch is not interested in Hopkins. It's the same old - Hopkins will demand a 80:20 split because 'he's the star' even though the only attendees to his fights are 3 dogs and Jim Lampley.

Froch wants the young, prime champions such as Kessler and Bute. :good

Yeah and two of the dogs only turn up in the hope he'll get his arse kicked. I still think Froch should fight him though if there's the chance of getting it on. It would put more pressure on Calzaghe to fight him if he took JC's biggest scalp for himself, Kesslers doing nothing much for a while yet. I know he's meant to be negotiating with Bute just now but if that falls through for any reason, Hopkins has to be one of the better options.

I think Hopkins would be favourite but I'd like to see Froch force him to fight instead of **** about kidding on he doesn't have to throw punches to win fights anymore.

Even Terry Norris had a better chin than does Khan. But the Norris comparison may be the most apt one.

If I remember correctly, the only two guys who KO'd Norris until near the end of his career were Julian Jackson (definitely no shame in losing to him by KO) and Simon Brown (excellent fighter).

There's no question, though, that Terry had a weak chin and it was a limiting factor in his success. Still, Amir is a long way off from the success that Norris had (held 2 of the 3 main belts at 154), so we'll see if his glass mandible can hold up as long as Norris' did.

Reasonable post but that avatar is a joke....

    It's not funny because:

    A) Haye doesn't have a china jaw - he does however have GLASS TEMPLES (yes I know I put chin in the 1st post - it's his temples that cause him trouble though).

    B) A Burger King hat? But Haye isn't fat - infact he is probably one of the most in-shape boxers in the world.....

    C) The words Mega Joke don't really work when you've sparked everyone at your weight division that was willing to fight you. AND THEN move up to challenge the most dangerous man in the world in the ring....

The Burger King cardboard crown isn't meant to imply Haye is fat, but that he is a joke. Like a jester, some kind of fool you would see sporting a Burger King hat.

I had a friend who graduated from law school. He wanted to make fun of the pomp and circumstance of the ceremony. To do so, he chose to wear a Burger King cardboard crown.

    Hope that helps. :good

    Thanks.

My goal with the picture was to please a poster that didn't even exist on the board when I made the avatar.

I'm glad I have achieved said goal, as King of Fools Haye will be achieving the prestigious "Herbie Hide KTFO By A Legit HW" honor in just a few weeks.

Nice one. I take it you were on hand to award Wlad his THREE-time 'KTFO-in-embarrassing-fashion by journey men' award. :good
