Hatton always comes up with pathetic excuses.

Why not tell it how it is, "I was overrated, and I have no business to be in the same ring with prime elite fighters."
But of course he won't say anything like that. Against Malignagi everything was great, Floyd was a great trainer that improved Hatton, that was the
best of hatton we've seen yet, etc, etc. But after Pacquiao now it's
all Floyd's fault, that wasn't the real Hatton, etc.

Not saying you disagree but Hatton lost for one reason, he is not as good as Pacquiao.

A side note.....Hatton should take what Mayweather snr thinks of him with a pinch of salt, because Hatton achieved more than he did so who is the real bum ?

Hatton would probably have lost to Pacman no matter who the trainer is but I think he would have been much more effective under, lets say, Roach than he would have been under Floyd.

Lets face it, Floyd is a great boxing technician but his professionalism and overall boxing strategic skills are lacking. If it wasn't for Lee Beard, Hatton might have had an even worse outing, if that is possible.

From what I've seen of Mosley, I think Nazim had him focus on his boxing skills and thats what Hatton needs. Hatton still has all the physical tools; he needs to believe in himself again, which is probably beyond any trainer.

I have seen the video clip of Mayweather Sr. calling Hatton a tomato can even before Hatton signed him as trainer. There is no way in hell Hatton wouldn't know about this before asking for his help as it was obvious and all over.

    [yt]-YLxFxnGT5E[/yt]

If random people were able to get ahold of the clip/comments and Hatton didn't then there must be something seriously wrong. Mayweather Sr. also admitted that he plans to teach Hatton some defense as he was fighting with his head wide open, he never lied about his claims nor did he swallow his words. In terms of defense Hatton wasn't that better than Gatti and it's obvious for even the casual fans.

Let me tell you why Hatton lost, he lost because he ran into Manny Pacquiao. He didn't lose because of Joe Cortez, Bailes, Mayweather Sr. or whoever. He lost because he ran into fighters that proved to be better than him, simple as that. He can get the entire Ali and Frazier family in camp and those two would still whop his ass.

It's shameless at this point. People accepted and moved on with the excuses about the Mayweather Jr. fight and the excuses there were amazing. Hatton wasn't treated FAIRLY by the referee!, because let me remind you of what's fair in M.E.N. ARENA. Holding, headbutting, rabbit punching, holding and hitting, random clinches, intentional lowblows, elbows, knees, arm twisting and shoving is all acceptable and fair, it's a FIGHTING STYLE!. Like we are ******s that don't know boxing. I swear if he literally pulled his gloves out that night against Tszyu and grabbed Tszyu from his balls he would have gotten a knockdown point for it. Some drunken idiots actually think here he was putting on a LEGENDARY performance that night and think others believe it too.

Hatton got iced because he ran into Manny Pacquiao, end the pathetic excuses please. Only a while ago he was all praises and love for how Mayweather Sr. accepted to train him and showed "glimpses" of improvement against Malignaggi. But against Pacquiao all that backfired?, let me guess, because Pacquiao is no Malignaggi, huh?

    True story :good

Hatton is THE worst, not one of the worst, but THE worst fighter active today for making excuses.

Hatton was still nothing like his best in terms of conditioning, strength, punch resistance etc as in previous years, that was clear and its not an excuse.

He would have lost anyway but not in that fashion.

Annoying thing is Pac is being overrated to high heaven now.

    Because it was PACQUIAO!!!!!!!!!!

No one hit him cleanly like Pac did.....nobody has shoved him right off and not let him bully them like pac did. Hatton was the same Hatton as ever and got trashed by the better fighter.

Didn't Holmes say he troubled Ali big-time in sparring before the Foreman fight?

There are many other examples that I can bring. All that means nothing, sparring isn't a PPV fight nor a challenge. It's called practice, you make mistakes in there on purpose to test out different moves.

Hatton didnt look right in the Pac fight ,i put it down to the size of the task hitting him harder than Pac did and his brain froze. As most have said, Hatton could not beat Pac with the best trainer in the world in his corner.
