lol dont know about stand still but if Pac fights Mosley and beats him or even knocks him out and if Floyd stops Marquez, then the fight will definitely be huge and it will attract a lot of the mainstream casual fans and every single Floyd hater will want to see this fight to see if Floyd will lose.

 

The funny thing about Floyd vs Oscar, I mean in America it was big because of Oscar firstly and Floyd Second but in the UK this fight did not even raise an eyebrow and I am guessing the same could be said for a Floyd vs Manny fight. There will be loads of boxing fans buying the PPV but it wont be a box office smash by any means but if it is promoted correctly then anything is possible.

 

Really, the fight wasn't big in the UK? I find that surprising for some reason. In north America, that fight was the first in a looong time that I can recall, that actually had casual sports fans and ordinary people who normally never watch boxing, talking about it at "the water coolers"

I mean it was big but it wasn't huge because over here most saw Oscar as a part time fighter and we did not see him as the same Oscar that was constantly active. The Mayorga fight wasn't a fight to judge where he was in terms of what he had left because Mayorga was very amateuristic and was open to shots all night long with those wild swings. People over in the UK who knew their boxing all had Floyd winning before the fight happened but alot of folk over here felt Oscar won it because they just dont like Floyds Style of fighting and chose to go with the man who was attempting to make the fight happen because if it was not for Oscar coming forward there wouldn't be a fight.

 

Not all people will pay for human chicken fighting.
