Óscar Rivas Torres (born June 6, 1987)who lost 5:9 at the Olympics to Champion Cammarelle will turn pro. A hard-punching Colombian.

Not much I can dig up on this guy. He's 6'1" and doesn't look fat.

That guy beat my countryman - Kubrat Pulev in the OG.
From what I remember from the fight Torres started with powerful bombs that shook Pulev and took an early lead 6-1 or something, then he went on Jawn Ruiz mode and won 11-5 despite being knocked down.
He can punch and was in shape during the Olympics. He can make some noise in Latin America and get one or two title shots.
BTW: Rivas was Panamerican HW champion, he won against the Cuban HW champ...not bad for 21 year old.

Cammarelle always came second place or thirth after Povetkin for years.... Cammarelle is descent but not better than Tor Hamer for example.

I very much doubt that Camarelle will ever turn pro!

Fury,Price,Dinu,Ciocan-some of the lesser known young guns have turned pro in the meantime.

    Torres will turn pro,too!

Heavy weight 's future starts to look brighter all of a sudden.

    Solis,Koeber,Boytsov,Kretschman,Hammer,Helenius,Pala-there
are already some very young promising rising heavies.
