Jorodz, you're an idiot, because you ignored how often he tagged Angulo that round. I gave the round to Angulo, but it was NO where close to 10-8. ..but Lederman gave the 9th and 10th to Angulo.. and those weren't.
10-8 may be a lot. Angulo definitely won it but in the end, that fight was all cintron. 10-9 is just fine with me
They make a great point, Angulo was just stalking obviously seeking the head and only that. He never really attempted to throw/land any body shots, Cintron would have clearly gassed earlier if they did and he would have gotten a chance to do something.
Overrated TKO win Mathysse is an easy TKO win now, every one of his TKO losses look like KO of the Year candidates.
I think HBO will push for a rematch. Cintron from rounds 1-6 was brilliant from 7-12 not so much. Still a good fight and a good performance from Kermit. Kermit with Kellerman. Cintron says this is the best performance to date in his career. Says 8 weeks of training camp hell and he gives credit to his team. Thanks "Ronnie, Brian and (Apollo) Creed". Cintron says he still has to work a little bit on some stuff such as stopping the bending. He showed he could box tonight. Kellerman like a *** tries to push Margarito platergate on Kermit. Kermit says he's the future and he proved it tonight. Says whatever his promoter puts out for him, he'll take it. Says he'll fight at 154 or 147. Feels he could be a champ in both.
Indeed. Clear win for Cintron though wasn't too easy due to Cintron's obvious stamina issues. Angulo was just stalking one dimensional trying to get to his head, never attempted to committ to at least SOME body punches.
