Urango has a good game plan at least. Let your hands go and just throw whatever you can at the body. Berto is timing him for an uppercut as the round begins. Berto and Urango tied up on the ropes and occasionally trade. Berto holds on the ropes and Urango lands a cute uppercut up the middle. Body punch from Urango and Berto is coming in for a big right hand. Nice right hand from Berto, I'd like more of that. Berto moving as Urango chases. Berto needs to do this more. Just move and jab. Urango would lose a race to an old lady on one of those rascal scooters. Berto misses an uppercut and the two trade punches. Berto backs up as Urango chases. Berto moving, Urango covering up. Berto is so much faster yet he makes it 1000x harder than it should be. Berto popped as the round ends and smiles.
Lennox actually had some good advice when he said--I'm paraphrasing--that Berto should move around the ring, not hug, when he's tired, and then come back in range when he's ready to throw. Berto opens up a bit this round to take it pretty clearly. 59-55 Berto
I think Berto should primarily just throw the lead left-hooks and straight rights a la PBF. Looking pretty good this round, but he should against Urango of course.
3 -3 Even, Urango is working the body and landing the cleaner shots, he is starting to catch Berto clean on the head.
Urango is such a hard guy to look good against, he's just so compact, chin tucked, iron chin, just comes forward... Berto is still fighting a stupid fight, but winning.
Urango roughed him up in rd 6. I see berto wearign down like i thought would happen..berto early and then urango makign it interesting. 10-9 urango 59-55 berto
