For those of you who after watching this fight think Berto can beat Cotto, Williams and Mosley.....you're judgement is clouded. Berto needs a lot of work contrary to what his buddy Lennox kept insisting on. He is not on their level!!!!!!
This is the most boring fight I've ever seen. Berto is outpointing..... Urangos style has something to do with the boring aspect of this fight. He's a second rate opponent. Berto's no Cotto or Mosley , that's for sure.
I was just gonna post the same ****.....he is terrible to watch...like John Ruiz. Ledderman even gave him Round 9!....the round where Berto done nothing but run and hold. HBO cheerleading team hardly said anything about holding being an illegal tactics....way to promote this guy I now hope that Berto gets his ass knocked out soon

I doubt he will ever be ready for those guys. You would kill him. And Cotto........same effect. Anyone who can cut him off, pressure him and hit him is gonna give this guy hell.
Berto doesn't suck.....he's just not at "that" level yet. Urango sucks. He was afforded the opportunity to face a young and touted titleist....and stunk that place up! Angulo is terrible imo.
Berto's needs a new trainer. From the way he kept giving him advice about how to hold and get away with it, it seems like it was part of the gameplan. Why? I don't know. berto should've stayed on the outisde the whole fight and peppered Urango. Berto needs someone who knows what they are doing.
Berto doesnt suck. Yes he put on a woeful performance tonight which was foul ridden. he was holding excessively and he was fouling using backhands instead of jabs. But, he did show me some improvement in his movement which has been pretty bad in the past. If you stand right in front of urango and try to brawl with him he will lay you out. So berto did what he needed to tonight. His defense is still sloppy and his game tonight looked bad, but it was effective. I have never been of fan of his and was a hard critic of his style, look up some old posts. I still see a leaky defense, but he has speed and movement tonight and speed is one of those skills that keeps a guy competitive.
