As it is, Pac will definitely not fight Valero because the latter is not in his league. But a wise promoter can induce him to take this fight. How? Bribe Bobbie Pacquiao to fight Valero. If he gets knocked out brutally by Valero, Manny will definitely take this fight and avenge his brother's brutal loss.

Trust me. This will work.

But like I said, Valero is not in his league. Sorry.

Valero getting licensed in Nevada, Valero fighting on HBO a few times first, and most importantly, Valero fighting and winning against opponents who have pulses for now on.

First of all, Bobbie Pacquiao is nothing but a journeyman. Beating him will prove nothing. Manny Pacquiao will not fight Valero just because he beat his brother. Soto beat Bobbie Pacquiao in front of Manny and Manny did not respond.

Pacquiao vs Valero will not likely happen because of it would be a high risk and low reward for Pacquiao. Beating Valero will not make Pacquiao increase his greatness instead he will be criticize by alot of boxing fans because Valero is an untested talent. There is also an issue that Valero can only fight at Texas.

Valero should clean up his division first if he wants to prove that he has the right to challenge a great fighter like Pacquiao. Marquez maybe his closes fight because they're both in the same weight division. Although I think Marquez will kill him too.

Actually, Pac's camp planned to fight Soto to avenge Bobbie's loss. I don't know what happened why it did not materialize?

Valero should beat Katsidis first and other good fighters.

Valero has fought NOONE OF NOTE. He can't even fight OUTSIDE OF TEXAS. He is not even the top man in his division and yet he is calling for the P4P 1. He is delusional. Pac is on cloud 7 with the money circuit. Hatton, Mayweather, De La Hoya and Pacman were there to start with. Then one quit and the other had his glass jaw exposed.

my guess is that Soto is too much danger for too little money. Wise business decision from the Pac camp but disappointing, because this is EXACTLY the type of fight I want to see Manny in. Someone who will stand and bang with him, who is dangerous until the bitter end. It's got fight of the year written all over it, will enhance Manny's legacy and it will also make Soto a big name, and he deserves it.

soto is a good fighter but in the end pac would be too much for him. soto, stylistically, is perfect for someone like pac. pac would be bigger (not taller of course), stronger and faster than soto.

the fight was almost made if not for the TR and GBP ceasefire that had mab requesting a 2nd fight with pac materialize. during that time, mab was still a good fighter having a close decision loss against jmm.

I think Pac wins it on handspeed in the end, but it's a brutal war from the opening bell. It might not last long, but it will have plenty of fireworks.

i just feel that soto was still undersized even at 130. he just hydrates to 135 when he fought guzman who hydrated to 148. pac was known to hydrate up to 145 pounds and jmm up to 141 when they were at 130. guzman just walked his punches like nothing.

but you're right this could have been a war while it lasted. two warriors who likes to move forward.

If Pac loses to Mosley, fraud,JMM or Cotto he will need an easy tune up kind of fight in his comeback and Valero is the perfect guy for that, other than that he shouldnt waste his time with that bum.

Pac might fight Valero if he gets 95% of the purse. but then again, he might and might not.
