    I thought George Foreman III alias "Monk" was his Dads Business Manager.

    Lennox Lewis was 24 when he turned pro after the olympics and he had a distinguished Amateur career.

    I think this is very strange indeed.

    Age and lack of an amateur career make it unlikely that he'll reach the top level, but it will be interesting to watch, whatever happens.

    Nine times out of ten these "boxing offspring" don't amount to much, but maybe he'll be an exception.

    Aw well, he'll probably fight 15-20 tomatoe cans befroe he fights anyone decent seeing as hes not had an amateur career.

    Nate Campbell turned pro at 28. Hell he didn't even put a pair of gloves on till he was 24.

    he also was a great amateur and in the 84 and 88 Olympics.....winning gold in 88. so theres a huge difference in both being in mid 20s

    What's funny? In any sport, it's generally ideal that you start one's pro career at young age. Tennis, swimming, basketball, etc. In boxing, Tyson was champ at 10, Pac at 18, etc. etc. IMO, starting at 26 is too old already.
