    Botha is fighting at 40yo and still fighting well...so more power to him and I hope he gets one more big fight.

    Yeah but Zab didn't get knocked out.Nor did he had to fight a few weeks in between.The Botha fight was 3 weeks after scheduled.No way he fights afer getting surprisedly knocked out.

    zab didnt get KO'd becase he hit floyd low when he was ripe.

    Ahh.....in order for out context to be right Zab would have had to been knocked out during the Baldomir fight.:nut

    :lol: True I suppose. Corrie was a good fighter, but could have been a great fighter had he more dedication to the sport.

    Botha is still a good fighter but he is no longer going to be able to compete with the elite heavyweights in the world....guys like the Klitschkos, Povetkin, Chagaev, Valuev, are all probably out of his league at this point. But he could definitely upset a no-chin pretender like David Haye.

    I like Botha. Real blue collar worker type in the ring. Solid contender, if never a true champ (IBF fiasco aside).

    For now, I don't think he can win a title but he seems to be boxing well and enjoying himself. I'm sure he can still be a valuable gatekeeper to the division's higher slots, he offers a lot of experience.

    I wish him well.
